Notes

  • Chris does bugstuff n firewood while Cass putting food/items away from Friday and in yurt chores
  • Chris and Mel the Snake meet - have a little stare-down. Snake has made home in a pc of cast iron pipe out by firewood and really startled Cass yesterday.
  • Cass getting too much mold exposure w/so much rain and down trees etc in area
  • Veg wrap lunch together in yurt
  • At night, post-sitework, post-dinner singsonging. The C+C punkified "Civil War" groove.
  • Late night yoga session

  • C+C review outside and Chris the project Foreman says Done - Check it Off the List. He might have said Yippee! except there was a lot of tasks on the agenda

306.02 Test on safety: materials and tools (diatomaceous + spreader)

  • also did screen house at same time

305.07 Screen house

  • move SIPPEE, Cass can seed that area, setup new one
  • no way is it 14' as advertised!
  • SIPPEE2? Or sSIPPEE (with a silent "s", as in second SIPPEE)
  • Rain downpour while inside checking out...there goes the garlic spray...grrr!
  • And, can't take down SIPPEE1
  • Relocated solar panel

303 Erosion (general)

  • C+C review of work and status
  • ditch build up by spring is OK
  • diversion ditch above 20' s/b ok also
  • go ahead and seed area
  • eventually will want to build up the rock "wall" alongside 20'/curtain drain
  • discussed having stairs entry go up over large rock...that'd be cool!

213.01 Footings

  • review ones Cass dug during wk, and outstanding two-person troubleshooting
  • too many shrooms near tree-rooted hole, Chris takes over that one
  • verified ledge on several
  • Chris tested drainage pump...YIPPEE - it works!
