Gone are the days of creatively summarizing and finding the themes of the month. Its all about getting as much work done as possible. Not that Feb's hours show it. We can blame that on Cassandra's dentist trip and subsequent weeks of illness. We'd blame AT&T, but they already get a hefty portion in our weekly YPP disclaimers!

QUIKEE Transmissions Feb '08

 

QUIKEE, Quack! Update Is Keeping Everyone Engaged, began on Feb 4th. Here are the transmissions, in chronological order, with one addition (Cass typed it up but forgot to finish and send), and a few txt transmissions for the day Chris & C&J spent at HH cleaning and plywood cutting/sealing.

Q} all floor, wall & ceiling boards are installed in utility shed. Many are reclaimed scraps, thanks to Cass' keen eye ;-) for arranging

Q} Tropics/Tundra: >90F in one yurt; <32F another; somewhere between outside. Dome snow let go. Yurt warmed tad. No Thaw-Cass break needed!

Q} ATT's "less-than" svc can't handle "less-than"# combo w/o a space. Yurt was< 32F. The >isn't similarly restrained. Nor are <& <@ <; <: FWIW

Q} Yup, deck should be 6ft higher off ground (oh yes) to accomodate snow! Paper Towel Saves The Night: helps Cass close door/she won't freeze!

8:51 am I have already sliced thru my thumb. Thankfully only surface cut. The J&C are decontaminatin' and I am prepping the garage.

1:10 pm hey u. Luan is cut. We is lunching too.

1:18 pm house looks much cleaner!

1:56 pm bedroom before last plywood removed!

2:43 pm Floor is cut

3:06 pm Ply is out

4:05 pm connie + scrubberthingy = holy clean sink!

5:20 pm last board is cut!

6:58 pmBoards inside for sealing. C&J are changing to head home

7:11 pm Been a real long time since I sealed in house.  Ugh. .

Q} (chris - cass) * (jere + connie) / plywood + 2(saws) = clean hellouse + PH walls & floor. I always hated math but J&C added fun to house. 

 

And so...February Ends, with Chris sleeping at Po-O-Cham hellhouse on an air mattress, Cass on the Park Ave loft bed, both wiped out -albeit for different reasons. Tomorrow begins another month. Only four months to go and... many, many, many hours of site work...
