Seeding on Woody Way
Notes:
- H of a day!
- H is for Hammer drilling, which Chris did in AM
- H is for Hot, in yurt where Cassandra stayed while Chris used gen+drill
- H is for Humid-Humid-Humid
- H is for Hello, as in "hello sun!", sun woke C+C this am, an unusual event this week
- H is for House, Chris meets with landlord for house review
- H is for Hope!, as in hope for a successful week and good weather!
- H is for Hard-working folks like C+C
- H is Home for Holiday!
- H is for Hooray, Humidity dropping!
- Cass not doing well at all in eve after site work, maybe not surprising since near turnaround (moldy platform and truck) and was already sick before
- ATVs running all afternoon/eve
- And fireworks too
- Tom the property manager visits rental house. Seems happy with it still being standing. Glad that's over.
- Driveway has some rain damage, we rreally need more Surepack laid down and a proper crowning.
276.06 Seed banks/ditches along WoodyWay
- since less humid and a breeze, Cass tackled this task.
- had to wear mask the whole timebecause is lower half WW. even with slightly better weather conditions, was really hot and uncomfortable, but at least didn't ruin mask by drenching it in sweat
- seeded uphill banks as they were, no grading, just get it done.
- cut banks down on WW side of ditch so WW now slopes down to ditch, should make for better drainage.
- have to address downhill side of WW in the erosion control task. there's no ditch there now.
- this task done.
- Time: 3.25hrs
213.01 Footings
- Drilled nine remaining MLA deck and yurt footing-on-ledge holes. Determined that one of the yurt footings thought to be on ledge is actually a full four-footer. Oops!
- Frogs like footing-hole swimming pools
- Clogged the pump again. Grrr
